Prozhektor #31 1928

Issue #31 (149) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 29 July1928. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. The issue includes a wide range of articles, photos, drawings, poems and advertisements. Artwork is by G Grosz and Y Ganf. Articles focus on the 25th anniversary of the 2nd Congress of the Russian Social Democratic Workers' Party, the 6th Comintern Congress, and WW1, with photos of soldiers training, tanks, and demonstrators protesting against the war in Leningrad, as well as articles reflecting on the war. Good condition, minor tear on the cover along the spine, marks and staining, minor paper loss on bottom edge of back cover.
