Issue #34 (152) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 19 August 1928. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. The issue includes a drawing by K Eliseyev of railway workers in India striking by lying on the tracks, titled 'English Technology in India', an article about London which includes photos of Trafalga Square and Hyde Park, and a great feature about a street theatre with photos of performers. The issue also includes caricatures by Yuliy Ganf (1898-1973). A graphic artist, Ganf was known for his satirical cartoons, often published in Prozhektor and the Krokodil magazine. Very good condition, minor staining, minor creasing.
