Issue #36 (154) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 2 September 1928. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. The issue is dedicated to the children of the Soviet Union; photos show schoolchildren in Uzbekistan and Tashkent, children watching a play at school, a gathering of young pioneers, children playing chess. A double page spread features portraits of young pioneers with the title Long Live the Future International Army of Fighters for Socialism! Articles focus on schooling, childhood in Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and in villages, Soviet children, and a Pioneer camp.
