Issue #42 (160) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 14 October 1928. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. The issue includes a story titled Double Life with illustrations by N Altman, a Soviet avant-garde artist, cubist painter, illustrator and stage designer. Also includes an article on female drivers, an article titled 'Four Generations' with photographs of four generations of German families, and a photo series celebrating the opening of the All-Union Cultural Spartakiad. Features a great selection of short stories, advertisements, poems, photography and current affairs. Good condition, creasing, marks on cover, foxing.
