USSR in Construction was a monthly constructivist publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published in Russian, French, English, and German 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed Soviet artists of the time. This issue is dedicated to Bobriki chemical combinat. A great fold-out photomontage illustrates the products which were to be produced in the factories, including fertilisers, firebrick, and sulphuric acid. Photos include the shock-workers constructing the factories, the Liubovka river damn, and the various parts of the factories, accompanied by descriptions of how the chemicals are produced. Very good condition, minor creasing and staining.
