USSR in Construction was a constructivist publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published in Russian, French, English, and German 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed Soviet artists of the time. This issue covers the Soviet Taiga, with information about traditional life in the region, and photos of the landscape, collective farms, families and schools. Photos by M Alpert and S Fridlyand, and text by M Egart. Layout by Nikolai Troshin. Poor condition, front and back cover detached from magazine and seperate, paper losses, marking and tears on cover, staining on pages, ink stamp on back cover. Inner pages in good condition.
