The book was written by Dr Ernst Herbert Lehmann and published 1939 by Carl Stephenson Verlag in Berlin,Germany. It contains caricatures from the 1930s found by the author in newspapers worldwide. These caricatures document anti-British,anti-Bolshevist,anti-Democracy and some anti-Jewish propaganda,reflecting on the political situation in Europe shortly before the outbreak of WWII. Illustrated with caricatures by various artists,such as W Hahmann,K Grus,Garretto,R Dubonc and others. Acceptable condition. Frayed dust jacket,tears and loss of material along the spine and margins. Detached covers. Traces of glue on the inside of the spine. Pencil markings on the inside of both covers. Pages in good condition.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
