Original vintage constructivist magazine Ekran,issue number 13,May 1928. The ‘working newspaper’. Soviet weekly magazine on recent developments in the USSR and abroad. The front cover features a photograph of the working board of the factory newspaper Chelnok at the factory Krasnye Tekstilshhiki by A. Morozov. The issue features articles about Turksib,The Turkestan–Siberian Railway,a broad gauge railway that connects Central Asia with Siberia; the release of an unknown work by Heinrich Heine,a German poet,writer and literary critic; the construction of a railway in Kazakhstan; the collective farm Leninsky Put; an excerpt from a fantasy novel by Kalnitsky,Russian Soviet writer and publicist with illustrations by M Hrapkovsky; the fight against tuberculosis. 14 pages. Good condition,the cover is loose,browning.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
