The newspaper was the press organ of the Central Council of the Union of Militant Atheists. Cover made by L. Ovsyannikov,Russian and Soviet graphic artist and teacher,Honoured Artist of the RSFSR,member of the Leningrad Union of Artists. This issue is illustrated by various artists,such as K. Eliseev,Russian Soviet graphic artist and theatre and film artist; D. Melnikov,Soviet graphic artist,illustrator,poster artist,cartoonist,as well as M. Cheremnykh,V. Zelensky. Issue contains articles on various subjects,such as Bolotnikov uprising,earthquakes,Aga Khan,essay about "Bich" magazine. Contains illustrations as well as photographs. Published by OGIZ-GAIZ,155 000 copies. Good condition,tears and rubbings on the spine and on the margins,pages corners are bent. Frayed pages. Cancelled library stamps and small pen handwriting on the back cover. 22 pages.

Are your posters originals?
All antique and vintage posters listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
