These combined two volumes provide a detailed history of Russia,covering the country's geography and ethnography,notable events and figures from 972-1780. It includes over 50 illustrations. Alfred Nicolas Rambaud (1842-1905) was a French historian; he was recognised as an expert on the Byzantine period and Russian history.

Good condition,plastic cover on the cover is torn,minor wearing,minor foxing and browning.

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
