Constructivist cover featuring first blast furnace of Megastroi finishing with montage. This issue contains article "Red Chuvashiya in fight with bad roads" by I. Feldman,"Day at bread bulk" by R. Frayerman,Soviet writer,poet,essayist and journalist. A major component of the Socialist romanticism,Frayerman is best remembered as a children's literature author; "Collapse of the pound" by AYAKS,"Giants of Soviet Auto building",chapter "Over the Cuban river" from novel "Russia washed with blood" by Artyom Vesely,Soviet writer. Article "Interrupted speeches" by G. Ryklin,Soviet writer and journalist,satirist. Illustrated by B. Efremov, Soviet and Russian graphic artist,master of political caricature. Contains photographs as well as illustrations. Published by "Izvestij TSIK USSR and VTSIK". Good condition. Small pen and pencil handwriting on front and back cover. Staining,rubbings,creases,pages have bent corners. 18 pages.

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
