This issue contains article "Soviet diary","Victory over Wrangel","Parade of traitors" by El. Elvin illustrated by caricature taken from "Daily Yorker" and made by Berk; essay "English occupants in India" by M.Nekrich,"People and facts" by A. Antonovskaya,Russian Soviet writer,poetess,screenwriter,literary critic and publicist. The first woman to be awarded the Stalin Prize in literature; "10th anniversary of Crimea republic" by I. Borozdin,Russian Soviet scientist,oriental historian,ethnographer,teacher,professor,literary critic,member of the Writers' Union. Contains reproductions of painting by A.Avilov,Russian and Soviet painter and teacher,People's Artist of the RSFSR. And painting-photomontage made by N. Vysheslavtsev,Russian Soviet graphic artist and illustrator. Published by "Izvestij TSIK USSR and VTSIK". Are your posters originals?
All antique and vintage posters listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
