Soviet Magazine Red Field,issue number 32,12th August 1928. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Weekly magazine. A colourful painting of labourers on the front cover,various advertisements on the back cover. This edition includes focusses on construction articles include 'Shortcomings of Building Works in the Capital',as well as a chronicle of old St Petersburg entitled 'Building'. There is also a feature on 'Leningrad Port' and 'The Giant House of Culture'. List of some artwork inside: a photograph 'Road of the Proletariat Builders'; a painting of the 'Hydro Electric Construction in Zimo-Avchalah' by B Ioganson; a full page colour illustration 'City of the Future - Mast Aeroport' by I Nikitchenko; photographs by S Magaziner to accompany the feature on "Leningrad Port'. Fair condition,cuts and wear along the spine,unbound copy from a yearly subsciption volume,staining on the front cover. 20 pages.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
