The Legend of Ulenspiegel and Lamme Goedzak is a novel by the Belgian writer Charles De Coster, published in 1867. Cover design and illustrations are by V. Dvorakovsky, book illustrator and poster artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Translated from French by A. Gornfeld,Russian and Soviet literary critic, translator, journalist and essayist. Introductory article is written by B. Krzhevsky,Soviet literary critic, historian of literature, translator, author of translations of classic works of foreign literature. FAQs

More information about our posters and service.

Are your posters originals?

All antique and vintage posters listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
