Soviet magazine Thirty Days,issue number 12,1929. An illustrated Constructivist monthly magazine on current affairs in the Soviet Union. Published by Five Years publishing house in Moscow. A stylised black,white and orange Constructivist front cover designed by V Kviring. This edition includes articles entitled ‘The Soviet Offensive is Developing’,illustrated story ‘Susanna’s Comeback’,and a poem entitled ‘Hands’ by I Molchanov. List of some artwork inside: a photomontage alongside various slogans such as ‘Campaign on Illiteracy’; illustrations by V Kozlinsky for the story ‘Susanna’s Comeback’; illustrations by S Podygin for the article ‘For the Vanguard’; photographs by I Gorsky,A Ivanitsky,R Karmen and A Rodchenko for the article ‘Steel Road’.Poor condition,front cover detached,back cover missing. Are your posters originals?

All antique and vintage posters listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity. 

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
