The Young Proletarian is a literary,artistic,and journalistic magazine of Soviet youth. One of the oldest Komsomol magazines. Full of various essays,stories,articles,advertisements and propaganda materials. Published since 1917. Rich in pictures and illustrations. Constructivist covers and illustrations by various artists,such as N. Ushin,K. Rudakov,B. Antonovsky,G. Fitingof,V. Savvin,Selivanov,etc. Published by "Red Gazette" publishers. Poor condition of covers,both detached from the book,spine is missing, missing material on margins,rubbings,staining. Missing cover of #1 issue January 1928. Some pages are reinforced with clear tape. Small pencil remarks on some pages and on the inside of back cover. Some edges are bent. 552 pages.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
