Arts et Métiers Graphiques (AMG) is a luxury French bimonthly art magazine devoted to graphic arts and photography,which existed from 1927 to 1939. 68 issues were published. The issue is missing the lithograph by Cassandre. There are also articles on French movie posters and the art of the colour lithograph,with another special bind-in work of Toulose Lautrec with also an article dedicated to movie posters with a beautiful colour bind-in by Marie Laurencin. Includes illustrations of advertisement of Devambez,landscape drawings by Cabinet des Estampes,designs by Dignimont,photographs of landscapes on Route Royale,drawing Polichinelle by Monet,paintings by Toulouse-Lautrec,Odilon Redon,Vuillard,Bonnard,Cezanne,Renoir,posters by Bernard Bécan,Gill,Venabert,Bilinsky,Carlu,Fred Byror. What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
