Bela Uitz
Original vintage album Bela Uitz Tvorchesky Put/Creative Path edited by Ivan Matsa. A collection of drawings by the Hungarian artist Bela Uitz (1887-1972) published in 1932 in Russian. Béla Uitz was a Hungarian painter and communist activist. He was a contributor to the anarchist-pacifist magazine A Tett,published by Lajos Kassák. The collection also contains articles on the Luddites and the proletarian movement in the work of B. Witz,written by F. Korichener,E. Betelheim,M. Kaszek. An article about the works of Uitz was written by the compiler of the collection,Ivan Matsa,Soviet art critic,historian of art and architecture of Hungarian origin. The album includes 51 black and white images of the works. Published by Ogiz State Publishing House of fine arts Moscow - Leningrad,74 pages. Poor condition,top cover is absent,back cover is loose,tears on the spine and pages,stain,browning,pencil marks.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
