Illustrated Newspaper was mostly concentrated on cultural achievements in USSR. This issue talks about young female workers learning how to use tractors,renowned collective farm,overview of USSR pavilion in New York exhibition,classic paintings restoration and article about William Shakespeare dedicated to 375 anniversary of his birthday,story about "bogdan Khmelnitsky" play in Malui Teatr and more. Photographs are by A. Shaihet,Soviet photographer,one of the founders of the Soviet photo essay,master of documentary photography; Georgi Zelma,Soviet photographer and photojournalist. Best known for his photographs of Central Asia in the 1920s,of major industrial projects in the early days of the Soviet Union,and of World War II. He was a major contributor to the constructivist photography movement through the 1920s-30s. Published by "Pravda" newspapers,75 000 copies. Poor condition,missing paperclip,tears,loss of material and rubbings on the spine and on margins. Staining,4 pages are missing. Horizontal crease. 4 pages.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
