Vestnik Znaniya / Вестник Знания,issue number 4,1927. Vestnik Znaniya was an illustrated literary and popular science magazine with supplements for self-education,founded in St. Petersburg in 1902. It was published until 1918; the two-week illustrated popular science magazine Vestnik Znaniya was revived in 1925 and published until 1941. The cover features a bold design of a man with a rock on his back,resembling Sisyphus,a machine and a steam train. The issue features articles on nutrition,the history of Russian tea grown in Batumi,Georgia,wind energy,and Marconi short-wave receivers. Published by P P Soykin,Leningrad. Fair condition,paper losses,tears,staining,missing pages 225-236.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
