Original vintage Constructivist film magazine Soviet Screen Sovetsky Ekran #3 January 1929. It was a weekly magazine on recent developments in film in the USSR. The front and back covers feature stills from the film Winged Van produced in 1928 in Uzbekistan and directed by Oleg Frelikh,a Soviet and Russian stage,and film actor and director. The issue includes the articles about the dispute between the activities of Sovkino with a caricature of Boris Tseytlin,a soviet operator by E Klein; use of makeup in movies; Felix the Cat,a children's comedy cartoon character created in 1919 by Pat Sullivan and Otto Messmer during the silent film era; moviegoers in Azerbaijan; various advertisements and film reviews. Published by publishing house Teakinopechat,15 pages. Poor condition,some pages are loose,tears on the spine and some pages,browning.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
