This very rare,antique book is a First Edition,one of the 50 copies created. This is a political book on Lenin that was published by State Publishing House of Political Literature of Soviet Union. It was presented as a gift from the Soviet Union to political leaders at the 1939 World's Fair. Design of the book by S Telingater. This book is filled with many full colour,hand-tipped photographs,documents,manuscripts,letters,notes. Contains tipped-in illustrations by N Andreyev,P Alyakrinsky,A Tyutikov,A Kutateladze,I Vepkhvadze,etc. Published by OGIZ in 1939 in the run-up to WWII. The poor condition of the cover. Prominent rubbings causing loss of colour on the front and back cover. Loss of material on spine,tears. Frayed corners. Pages are in good condition.

Are your posters originals?
All antique and vintage posters listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
