Bound Subscription of Screen magazine from the period of 1 January 1926 to 13 February 1927. Illustrated magazine published in the USSR,founded in 1925 in Moscow as a supplement to magazine "Kinogazeta". The journal covered the domestic and foreign news of the movie screen,the history of cinema,published critical articles,published creative portraits of actors and filmmakers. Every year,the readers of the magazine also conducted surveys,which resulted in the names of “Best Film of the Year”,“Best Actor of the Year”,“Best Actress of the Year”,“Best Film for Children of the Year” and “Best Music Film of the Year”. Constructivist covers and illustrations by various artists,such as A. Rodchenko,B. Zilpert,M. Getmansky,U. Pimenov,G. Golts,M. Sinovkoy,V. Deni,etc. Red cover has golden embossing. Fair condition,rubbings,staining,tears,minor paper losses,some pages are reinforced with white partially see through paper.

Are your posters originals?
All antique and vintage posters listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
