Biographical pamphlet dedicated to the life and career of Ossi Oswalda,a German actress,who mostly appeared in silent films. She was given the nickname 'The German Mary Pickford' due to her popularity at the time. The pamphlet contains black and white photographs and stills from the movies. Cover design by M Getmansky,graphic artist,illustrator and book designer who worked with many publishing houses,such as: “Krug”,“Gosizdat”,“OGIZ” and “Detgiz”. Published by Tea-Kinopechat. Acceptable condition. The front cover is partially detached. Rubbings,tears on the margins,dust staining on the back cover. Pages are in good condition. Pencil markings on the front page and page 15. Pen markings on the back cover.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
