The Cutter Rezets #7-8 1935
"The Cutter" was a Russian Soviet literary and artistic magazine that was published twice a week. The editorial board of the magazine included A Gorelov,P Gromov,D Lavrukhin,Yu Libedinsky,M Lisovsky,A Reshetov,I Skvortsov-Stepanov,P Chagin. The permanent section of the magazine was entitled “The Cutter's Literary Studio”,in which under the editorship of A Kraisky,conversations with novice writers were conducted and literary quizzes were held. "The Cutter" was published in Leningrad from 1924 to 1939. Frontcover photo depicts a portrait of V Mayakovsky. This issue's artwork includes illustrations by V Mayakovsky for the poems "Grim about Comedians" and "I Protest",portraits of V Hlebnikov,V Kamensky and D Burluk by V Mayakovsky,an illustration of V Mayakovsky by D Burluk for the article "The Poet of Revolution". The poor condition of the cover,which is detached. Loss of material on margins. Pages are in good condition,some rubbings and staining. 36 pages.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
