"Red Panorama" was an illustrated socio-political,literary and artistic magazine. Published during 1923-30 by the publishing house "Krasnaya Gazeta" (2 times a month). The main sections: politics and public life,theatre,art,humour. This issue was dedicated to Anton Chekhov,Russian playwright and short-story writer who is considered to be among the greatest writers of short fiction in history. This issue's artwork includes photographs of Chekhov's portraits created by artists such as V Serov and Braza. Articles dedicated to A Chekhov in this issue include "A P Chekhov and Modernity" written by A Luncharsky,"Meeting A P Chekhov" by N Teleshov,"Chekhov's Trip to Sakhalin" by M Chekhov,"Chekhov's Letters" by L Grossman,"Chekhov's House in Yalta" by M Chekhov. Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
