Constructivist film magazine Soviet Movie Screen,issue number 42,19th October 1926. Printed in Moscow. Weekly magazine on recent developments in film in the USSR. Photomontage front cover advertising the recently released ‘Six Parts of the World’,on the back cover is a photographic still entitled ‘The Uzbek on the Falcon Hunt’. The edition includes articles on ‘Our School Cinema’,‘Everything is better than the average European film’ and ‘Through Persia with the Cameraman’. List of artworks inside: photomontage of images from the new release ‘Provocateur’ Ukrainian state-sponsored film studio ВУФКУ; a cartoon strip entitled ‘Resembling a Director’ by M. Getmansky; a photomontage of recent products the USSR was behind. Good condition,some coloured stains on the front cover and on page 6 and 15. Slight tear in the lower spine. 15 pages.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
