Constructivist film magazine Soviet Movie Screen,issue number 51-52,21st December 1926. Printed in Moscow. Weekly magazine on recent developments in film in the USSR. Photomontage front cover advertising the film ‘Sar-Pige’ from the Guvashkino production company. A photographic still from the Sovkino film ‘The Decembrists’ on the back cover. Inside is a feature entitled ‘Fresh Breeze advertising the benefits of seaside life,and articles ‘The Cinema-Parade of Monarchists’ and ‘About Albert Hans’ - a French actor and film director. List of artwork inside: a caricature of the architect Leonidov by S. Zaltser; a surrealist painting entitled ‘In the Dressing Room before the Shooting’ by Savitski; an illustrated story by M. Getmansky. Good condition,some faint stains on the front and back covers. A weak spine,the front cover is delicately attached. 15 pages.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
