Soviet magazine Thirty Days,issue number 10,1928. An illustrated Constructivist monthly magazine on current affairs in the Soviet Union. Published by Five Years publishing house in Moscow. A stylised constructivist cover depicting a ship and icebergs designed by E Mandelberg,the back cover commemorates the great Russian writer Leo Tolstoy on his birthday. This edition includes an article on the history of Congress,and an illustrated story 'Victim' by L Zvadovsky,as well as a nonfiction article 'Drama at the Poles'. List of artwork inside: illustrations by N Denisovsky to accompany the short story 'Engineer Mertz'; illustrations by V Cvarov to accompany the article 'Victim'; a photograph of Bukharin who opened the Congress; a headband designed by Y Zavyalov to accompany the poem 'Balkans'. Fair condition,watermarks apparent at the edges of most pages,various tears in the front cover and spine,but magazine still bound together. Pages 1-19 creased. 95 pages.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
