Soviet magazine Thirty Days,issue number 3,1929. An illustrated Constructivist monthly magazine on current affairs in the Soviet Union. Published by Five Years publishing house in Moscow. A stylised brown and yellow Constructivist front cover designed by Boris Titov. This edition includes articles on ‘The Komintern’ and another entitled ‘Seven and Three’ as well as a collection of verse,with poems ‘The Future’ by A Bezimensky and ‘Gostorg in Mongolia’ by S Markov. Illustrated stories include ‘On Holiday’ and ‘Celebration of Nikita’ and ‘Blood-Force’. List of some artwork inside: illustrations by K Elisieva for the article ‘On Holiday’; illustrations by V Cvarog for the article ‘Blood-Force’; illustrations for the article ‘Celebration of Nikita’ by M Cheremny; photographs by A Lomakina to accompany the article P Karmen; illustrations by M Cheremny for the article ‘Epitaph’. Are your posters originals?
All antique and vintage posters listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
