Collection of student works on paper on the composition of publications of first-grade students 2000-2003 at The Moscow University of Fine Print and the descriptions of work methods based on Constructivism Laboratory - a year-long course of exercises to master the printing experiments of Russian avant-garde artists. Consists of four practices with several exercises: 1) Futuristic book - a series of compositions based on futuristic books in Russia,such as Sadok Sudei (A Trap for Judges),the first literary and artistic collection of works by Russian futurists in the history of Russian literature Worldbackwards (Mirskontsa) and others; 2) White field of Suprematism - work with coloured planes in the space of white. 3) Constructivism: structure and functional approach - the study of constructivism in graphic design. 4) From exercises - to the project of the catalogue - the combination of the material in a single collection; an article about collage experiments. The exercises of students are created based on the works of such artists as Aleksei Kruchenykh,Vladimir Mayakovsky,El Lissitzky,Kazimir Malevich,Solomon Telingater,Alexander Rodchenko,Varvara Stepanova. Are your posters originals?

All antique and vintage posters listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity. 

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
