Laureate of the Stalin Prize in 1951. Constructivist cover illustrated by B. Titov,Soviet graphic artist,illustrator,book designer. His work was one the highest in the number of decorated books in the Soviet Union. He was one of the most prolific,original and sought-after book artists. The original technique,which was able to synthesise very different stylistic tendencies of the 20s-30s,which determined the “graphic appearance” of the products of such large publishing houses as the State Publishing House,“Earth and Factory”,“Young Guard”,“Proletarian”. Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
