Soviet Constructivist magazine Worker and Theatre,issue number 30,28th July,1929. A weekly magazine giving updates about theatre,film music,radio and stage. First published in 1923,edited in Leningrad. A photograph of a skull taken from the new Sovkino release 'Fragment of the Empire' directed by F Ermler on the front cover,various advertsiements on the back cover. This edition features articles '15 Years Ago' which covers the outbreak of the First World War,and 'Trade Unions and the Red Day' and another feature on 'Stage Artwork'. List of some artwork inside: a photographic still from the Sovkino film 'Fragment of the Empire'; a caricature of the composer U A Shaporin by H E Radlov; a caricature 'Amusement park' by Karenin. Very good condition,bottom edge of back page frayed. 15 pages.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
