Dated 3 – 8 March,1925,this is the 14th volume of the weekly magazine "Art for the working men," printed in a run of 12 000 copies. Encompassing theatre,cinema,music,painting,sculpture,and architecture (as stated in the heading),this issue reviews current Paris exhibitions (comparing Paris and Moscow and naming them the only two interesting cities in the world of the day),discusses the art of Picasso (the article written by B. Ternovetz,the director of the State Museum of New Western Art in Moscow),and overviews recent performances of the Moscow Art Theatre of Konstantin Stanislavski. One of the obituaries at the end is written by Leonid Grossman. Great condition,occasional stains,some edges scissored off or torn off,tears on some edges,stamp and notes in pencil and blue crayon on the back cover. 34 pages.

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
