Original vintage constructivist magazine Ekran,issue number 22,May 1928. The ‘working newspaper’. Soviet weekly magazine on recent developments in the USSR and abroad. The front cover features a photograph of a physical education dance performed by two girls by P. Petrokas; the back cover features the Big Lottery. The issue features articles about the Moscow sports season,including football and runners; a story of V. Ostolsky with illustrations by G. Zanegin; Japanese fascism; change of political regime in Persia; research on blood circulation; Salty Liman near Dnepropetrovsk; International exhibition of Press in Cologne 1928. The design of the exposition of the USSR pavilion was created by artists Lissitzky and Rabinovich; mining in the North Caucasus; the funeral of Tsyurupa,a Bolshevik leader,Soviet statesman,and Party figure. 14 pages. Fair condition,spine is loose,tears,browning.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
