The front and back cover feature drawings of the factory workers. The issue includes articles about the electrification of the Soviet Union and the construction of large power plants; the Leningrad poster exhibition; international events such as the funeral of Krasin,a Russian Soviet politician,engineer,social entrepreneur,Bolshevik revolutionary politician and a Soviet diplomat in London; the awarding of the Nobel Prize to Bernard Shaw,an Irish playwright,critic,polemicist,and political activist; the opening of the congress of the Union of Red Women and Girls in Berlin; the international chess tournament; the construction of The Dnieper Hydroelectric Station; the development of the post office work; baking factories and others,accompanied by drawings and photographs by M Alpert. Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
