Prozhektor № 22 (44),Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine,from 1 December 1924. Prozhektor was published in Moscow as a supplement to the newspaper Pravda in 1923-1935. The cover is dedicated to photos of 'The Victims of Bourgeois Terror in Estonia'. Articles include a feature on the Sixth Congress of USSR Trade Unions,a double page spread on the 'Presentation of Credentials by Representatives of Mongolia and Mexico',an article on France's recognition of the Soviet Union,and the feature 'Five Years of the First Horse Army'. The back cover shows images of a production of Hamlet at the Moscow Artistic Theatre. Good condition,staining,creasing,no staples.

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
