Issue #35 (153) of Prozhektor,a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine,dated 26 August 1928. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. The issue includes a portrait of Vladimir Lenin and an article on Fanny Kaplan's attempt to assassinate him,with photos of the factory where it occured. Other articles focus on the killing of Bolshevik revolutionary Moisei Uritsky,and the All-Union Sports Day. Includes photos of military parades in Berlin,the Croatian politician Stjepan Radic,and English Legionaires on a visit to Russia,as well as short stories,illustrations,advertisements and poetry. Fair condition,foxing,creasing.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
