The cover features the drawing of the factory and a worker by the artist Arapov. The issue includes articles on Trade Union of Art Workers in Bolshevik Russia and its international connections; reviews of different theatres,such as The Revolution Theatre,the Red Theatre,the Moscow Art Theater Music Studio; the development of the theatre in the villages; the study of the perception of the viewer; the conservatory; the production of the play Ivan Kozyr and Tatyana Russkih with illustrations by the artist Kochergin; the competition for the best drama workshop with photographs by Skvorcov; various theatres and film reviews. Published by the publishing house Leningradskij Gublit,printed by Krasnaja Gazeta with a run of copies 15 000. 33 pages. Poor condition,some pages are cut out,tears on the spine and cover edges,browning.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
