Soviet weekly magazine Red Field,issue №10,30 March 1930. First published in 1922 by the Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union. Constructivist cover has montage by N. Pinus,Soviet painter,graphic artist,poster artist,representative of constructivism. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. This issue contains article "Trial of Ukrainian counterrevolutionaries","About Collectivisation" written by I. Gronsky,Soviet public figure,journalist,literary critic; "International decade","Pope protecting the civilisation","Victory over the police". Article "Moscow caricaturist. Older generation." contains examples of works made by most notable graphic artists like: Deni,K. Eliseev,B. Efimov,Yu. Ganf,V. Kozlinsky and D. Moor. Published by "Izvestij TSIK USSR and VTSIK". Fair condition,rusty staples,tears and loss of material on the spine and on margins. Was part of bound yearly volume. Dusting and staining. Pencil handwriting on the frontispiece,back cover and some pages. 20 pages.

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
