A Constructivist image of two boats on the front cover by B Titov. This edition features articles ‘Going on the Fifty-year Hike’,‘Celebration of the Soviet Book’ as well as a poem ‘To Books’ by Vasily Kazin. Also a feature on Vasily Sedoi,the Russian composer. List of artwork inside: photo-illustrations by I Gorsky to accompany the article ‘Celebration of the Soviet Book’; illustrations to accompany the feature on Vasily Sedoi by B Titova; illustrations by V Cvarova to accompany the poem ‘Forward Sowing’; illustrations by V Cvarova to accompany the article ‘How to Relax’. Good condition,watermarks along the edges of some of the back pages,a small crease on the front cover. 80 pages.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
