Dated 8 June,1926,this is the 23rd volume of the weekly magazine on theatre called "Rabochy i Teatr" ["Worker and Theatre"],printed in a run of 18 000 copies. This issue characterises a typical viewer of opera,reviews recent concerts,and mocks "the so-called crisis in contemporary ballet." Playbill of the upcoming performances and shows in Leningrad is also included at the end of the issue. Numerous adverts and photographs from the performances are an integral part of the journal. Great condition,paper faded,slight tears on the edges,stains on some pages,spine artly unglued (some pages in risk of unbinding). 22 pages.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
