Dated 23 November 1926,this is the 47th volume of the weekly magazine on theatre called "Rabochy i Teatr" ["Worker and Theatre"],printed in a run of 20 000 copies. Among texts in this issue are reviews by A.N. Tolstoy,A. Lunacharsky; alongside other,with emphasis on the rent club performances. Playbill of the upcoming performances and shows in Leningrad is also included at the end of the issue. Numerous adverts and photographs from the performances are an integral part of the journal. Photomontage poster for a film Mess Mend on the back cover. Great condition,paper faded,slight tears on the edges,stains on some pages,cuts on the top of the front cover and along the spin. 30 pages.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
