This book has adapted traditional Russian skazkis for an English-speaking audience,the tales are based on the legends recounted by W. R. S. Ralston in his 'Russian Folk Tales' and by Leon Sichler in his translation of 'Contes Russes'. List of artwork inside: illustrations and paintings accompany most stories,some are entitled 'Are you warm maiden?' The Frost King asked.' and 'They soon saw a bird with wings of silver and a tail of gold'. Excellent condition,hard back cover,spine faded but still strong. 292 pages.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
