Published in 1919. The number of poems included by each poet varies, but the average is about six. Many of the poems are untitled. Imaginism was a Russian avant-garde poetic movement that began after the Revolution of 1917. It was founded in 1918 in Moscow by a group of poets including Anatoly Marienhof, Vadim Shershenevich, and Sergei Yesenin, who wanted to distance themselves from the Futurists. The front cover features a Constructivist design by Lentulov of factory workers waving a red Soviet flag. Poor condition, front cover badly frayed and both front and back covers discoloured with age. Writing and stains on the inside of the front cover. More staind on the edges of the back pages. 69 pages.
