Prozhektor № 47 (165), Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 18 November 1928. Prozhektor was published in Moscow as a supplement to the newspaper Pravda from 1923 to 1935. This issue features photos of a new electric power station in Moscow, and crowds of workers celebrating the 11th Anniversary of the October Revolution. An article is devoted to poverty in New York, with photos of people queuing at a soup kitchen 'in search of work and bread'. Other articles focus on Ivan Ivanovich Skvortsov-Stepanov, a Bolshevik revolutionary and politician, as well as radio operators, an aeroplane display, and 'the theatre of satire'. Very good condition, minor browning and staining, minor tear along the spine of the cover.
