Original vintage Art Deco music sheet Die Welt im Tanz / The dancing world / Le monde dansant. 21 internationale Tanz- und Tonfilmschlager. Band 1, 1931. Published by Roehr Aktiengesellschaft, Berlin, edition Roehr. The Art Deco design cover by Herzig features a pair dancing on the background of the globe with lines with notes and white lettering. Willy Herzig worked as a designer of covers for popular music notes. Around 1920 he worked in Vienna as a poster designer, after which he worked in Berlin. He illustrated products from Alrobi Musikverlag, Wiener-Boheme-Verlag, Drei Maske Verlag and other publishers. The volume includes music sheets with notes of 21 songs. Paperback, 47 pages. Good condition, browning of cover and pages, staining on cover.
