Original vintage album publication Le Spectacle est Dans La Rue / The Show in the Street in French, issued by Draeger Freres, a French printer who has published some of the masterpieces of French publishing and was one of the pioneers of advertising. Features images in black and white and colour of Art Deco posters by Adolphe Jean-Marie Mouron, known as Cassandre (1901-1968), a notable French poster artist, painter and typeface designer. In 1935, Cassandre signed an exclusive contract with Draeger Freres for the French editions of his posters. Includes advertising posters for such companies as Étoile du Nord railway, Dubonnet, Nicolas. Published by Draeger Frere, 40 pages. Good condition, minor tears, creasing, staining.
