Biographical pamphlet about Paul Richter, an Austrian film actor. He owed his great popularity in German films of the silent era largely to the directors Joe May and Fritz Lang. Constructivist cover made by M Getmansky, a graphic artist and illustrator. Getmansky designed book covers for publishers such as Krug, Detgiz and Gosizdat. He also produced illustrations for numerous publications, namely magazines (Krasnaya Niva and Ogonek), children’s books and travel guides (such as Soviet Travel). The pamphlet contains photographs of Paul Richter and stills from the movies. Written by V Korolevich. Published by Kinopechat, 15 000 copies. 16 pages. Acceptable condition. Frayed spine, creases on margins, slight rubbings. Pen remarks and cancelled library stamp on the back cover.
