"Physical Culture and Sports" was a weekly Soviet and Russian illustrated popular science, a literary and artistic magazine on current affairs of physical culture and sports. The first issue of the magazine was published in 1922. Initially, the magazine had a popular science focus. It periodically published articles on theoretical and methodological issues of various sports, but by the second half of the 1950s, after the start of the magazines such as "Athletics", "Sports Games", and "Physical Culture at School", such articles disappeared from its contents. Constructivist cover by S Krasinsky. This issue's articles include "Champions or Professionals that We Need" by V Gerson, "Sportsman's Diary" by N Vasylich, "Tennis to the Masses" by I Solonevich, "How to Build a Simple Boat by Yourself" by F Shedling. Poor condition. Frayed spine, dust staining and rubbings, creases. A missing piece of material on the front page. Published by the publishing house "Physical Culture and Sports", 1929. 14 pages.
